Tournament Credits icon

Tournament Credits are a currency in Rocket League that can be earned from participating in Psyonix-scheduled Tournaments, and they are used to unlock Tournament Cups.

Tournament Credits are untradeable. A player's balance of Tournament Credits resets at the end of each Season, so it is advised that the players spend them before the season ends.[1] When the season ends, all players that participated in Tournaments receive Tournament Cup rewards. Previously, if their Tournament Credits balance was 0-12000, a player would get 1 All-Star reward, if it was 12001-24000, they got 2 All-Star rewards, and so on, but starting at the end of Season 4, every player gets one All-Star reward, and, additionally, their Tournament Credits will convert to the highest level reward they are capable of earning based on their Tournament Rank and Tournament Credit amount (at minimum, a Prospect Cup reward)[2]. The rewards are awarded at the start of the next Season.

Here are the current amounts of Tournament Credits awarded for each rank. Each week players who finish Tournaments will acquire a Weekly Reward in addition to the placement reward which is awarded for Top Placements. A player can only receive 3 Weekly Rewards per week, for their highest 3 placements (by Tournament Credit value), however, you cannot earn them if you lose in the first round of a tournament.

Tournament credits are also awarded whenever you receive a bye in any Psyonix-Scheduled Tournament.

Since Tournament Credits are awarded immediately after the player's placement is determined, subsequent higher placements will replace previous lower placement but only award the difference in Tournament Credits. For example, after placing top 16 (losing in the second round) in a Gold tournament 3 times in the same week, a subsequent top 8 placement (loss in the Quarter Finals) in a Gold tournament would replace one of the top 16 placements and only award 500 Tournament Credits (3000-2500) for the Weekly Reward, not the full 3000.

The Weekly Rewards are reset every Monday, so each week from Monday to Sunday you can gain a fresh amount of Tournament Credits.
