Season 5 is the nineteenth competitive season in Rocket League and the fifth competitive season after the Free To Play update. The season officially commenced on November 17, 2021 at 3PM UTC and ended on March 9th 2022. The season is space-themed, which is reflected in the accompanying Rocket Pass items and Starbase ARC (Aftermath) arena. The Rocket Pass features the Nexus car body.[1]
On February 11, 2022, the season rewards were revealed to be Goal Explosions.[2]
