Paint finishes are a customization option in the garage that add a texture or pattern to paint when equipped.
Common
Common paint finishes are unlocked by completing New Driver Challenges. Glossy is the default paint finish and is unlocked from the beginning of the game. The other common paint finishes are tied to their respective DLC content.

Uncommon
Uncommon paint finishes are obtained from Item Shop. Each Uncommon rarity paint finish costing

Animated decals
If an animated decal is equipped, the option to select the paint is replaced with the name of the decal. While some animated decals still let you choose both primary and accent colors, some allow you to choose the primary color only.
