Paint finishes are a customization option in the garage that add a texture or pattern to paint when equipped.

Common

Common paint finishes are unlocked by completing matches. Glossy is the default paint finish and is unlocked from the beginning of the game.

Rare

Rare paint finishes are obtained from unlocking crates.

Very Rare

Import paint finishes are unlocked by opening crates.

Limited

Spring Fever Event

The following paint can be purchased with Flowers during the Spring Fever event.

Premium

Premium paint finishes are unlocked by purchasing DLC.

Rocket Pass 1

The following paint finish could only be obtained by tiering up in Rocket Pass 1 premium.

Rocket Pass 2

The following paint finish could only be obtained by tiering up in Rocket Pass 2 premium.

Rocket Pass 3

The following paint finish could only be obtained by tiering up in Rocket Pass 3 premium.

Rocket Pass 4

The following paint finish could only be obtained by tiering up in Rocket Pass 4 premium.

Rocket Pass 5

The following paint finishes could only be obtained by tiering up in Rocket Pass 5 premium.

Rocket Pass 6

The following paint finishes could only be obtained by tiering up in Rocket Pass 6 premium.

Season 1 Rocket Pass

The following paint finishes could only be obtained by tiering up in Season 1 Rocket Pass premium.

Season 2 Rocket Pass

The following paint finishes can only be obtained by tiering up in Season 2 Rocket Pass premium.

Season 3 Rocket Pass

The following paint finishes can only be obtained by tiering up in Season 3 Rocket Pass premium.

Unattainable

The following paint finishes are locked to specific vehicle bodies.

Animated decals

If an animated decal is equipped, the option to select the paint is replaced with the name of the decal. While some animated decals still let you choose both primary and accent colors, some allow you to choose the primary color only.
