Masamune is a Vehicle that can be obtained from the Item Shop, and Drops (which include the Deluxe rarity). It is classified as both Deluxe and Legacy rarity. It is part of the Rocket League Collector's Edition.[2] It was made available to purchase separately on July 18, 2016.[3]
There are painted variants of this vehicle. Painted variants are available through the Item Shop.
As of Patch v1.81, New players that obtain this vehicle from drops will receive the Deluxe version. If however you played Rocket League before Free To Play then it's rarity will be marked as Legacy.Note - Even if you have the Legacy version of this vehicle body you can still get a duplicate from drops which will be the Deluxe version.

- The Japanese word 正宗, used in promotional material by Psyonix, may be a reference to Gorō Nyūdō Masamune, who was widely recognized as Japan's greatest swordsmith.
