Masamune is a battle-car released on July 5, 2016, as part of the Rocket League Collector's Edition.[2] It was made available to purchase separately on July 18, 2016.[3]
Painted variants was made available through the Item Shop.
The Japanese word 正宗, used in promotional material by Psyonix, may be a reference to Gorō Nyūdō Masamune, who was widely recognized as Japan's greatest swordsmith.

Note - Even if you have the Legacy version of this vehicle body you can still get a duplicate from drops which will be the Very Rare version.
