Goal explosions are a customization option in Rocket League. They were added on July 5, 2017, as part of the second-anniversary update. Goal explosions record the number of goals scored while equipped.

Common

The following goal explosions are unlocked by completing matches, with the exception of the Classic goal explosion, which is unlocked by default.

Import

The following goal explosions could only be obtained from special event crates.

Unreleased

The following goal explosion has been found in the game files but has currently not been officially released, It is classified as Import quality.

Exotic

The following goal explosions could only be obtained from special event crates.

Limited

Competitive Season 7

Players who participated in the Competitive playlists during Season 7 received limited goal explosions as an additional reward when the season ended. Goal Explosions were awarded to a player based on the highest season reward level they reached. These goal explosions cannot be traded with other players.[1]

Competitive Season 10

Players who participated in the Competitive playlists during Season 10 received limited goal explosions as a reward when the season ended. Goal Explosions were awarded to a player based on the highest season reward level they reached. These goal explosions cannot be traded with other players.[2]

Hot Wheels

The following goal explosion can only be obtained from an exclusive code given when you buy the Hot Wheels Rocket League RC Rivals pack.[3]

RLCS Fan Rewards

Players who registered for Fan Rewards and watched the RLCS and RLRS enabled for item drops on Twitch could receive these limited items as a random drop during the live broadcast.

Twitch Prime

The following goal explosion can be obtained by linking your Twitch Prime account with your Rocket League platform of choice.[4]

Black Market

The following goal explosions can be obtained from blueprints, the Item Shop, and from Tournament Rewards.

Note: Gravity Bomb sucks in the cars with its gravitational pull instead of blasting them away!
Note: Air Strike will demolish players near the goal!


 

Premium

The Batman goal explosion can only be obtained from the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice DLC pack and can only be equipped on '16 Batmobile. The T. Rex goal explosion can only be obtained from the Jurassic World Car Pack DLC. Unlike the Batman GE, the T. Rex GE can be equipped to any vehicle.

Rocket Pass

Only painted variations which can be obtained from 'Pro Tiers' (i.e. Tier 71 and above) can be traded.

Rocket Pass 1

The following goal explosions were only obtainable by by tiering up in Rocket Pass 1.

Rocket Pass 2

The following goal explosions were only obtainable by tiering up in Rocket Pass 2.

Rocket Pass 3

The following goal explosions were only obtainable by tiering up in Rocket Pass 3.

Rocket Pass 4

The following goal explosions were only obtainable by tiering up in Rocket Pass 4.

Rocket Pass 5

The following goal explosions were only obtainable by tiering up in Rocket Pass 5.

Rocket Pass 6

The following goal explosions were only obtainable by tiering up in Rocket Pass 6.

Season 1 Rocket Pass

The following goal explosions were only obtainable by tiering up in Season 1 Rocket Pass.
