Decals are a customization option in Rocket League. Each Battle-Car has its own set of decals that can be unlocked as one keeps playing the game. Decals record the number of saves performed while equipped.

Common

Decals listed here must be unlocked by playing the game normally and completing matches. Flames, Stars, Stripes and Tech are already unlocked at the beginning of the game.

Rare

Some decals listed here can only be found in crates. Others can be found as a random drop, or through trade-ups.

Very Rare

Decals listed here can only be found in crates.

  • The Distortion and Dot Matrix decals prevent the player from choosing a secondary color; the accent color is exclusively black.

Import

Decals listed here are classed as of Common quality, they are included with their respective Import cars once the car obtained.

Decal listed here can only be found from crates.

The Kaleidoscope and Leviathan decal are universal, and are compatible with any Battle-Car.

Limited

RLCS Fan Rewards Phase 1

Players who registered for Fan Rewards and watched the RLCS enabled for item drops on Twitch starting from June 2, 2017 to January 28, 2018 could receive this limited item as a random drop during the live broadcast.

The RLCS decal is compatible with the following Battle-Cars: Breakout, Breakout Type-S, Dominus, Dominus GT, Octane, Octane ZSR

RLCS Fan Rewards Phase 2

Players who registered for Fan Rewards and watched the RLCS and RLRS enabled for item drops on Twitch starting from March 10, 2018 could receive this limited items as a random drop during the live broadcast.

Players who registered for Fan Rewards and watched the RLCS, CRL, and RLRS enabled for item drops on Twitch starting from March 10, 2018 could receive this limited items as a random drop during the live broadcast.

Haunted Hallows

The following decals could be purchased with "Candy Corn" during the 2017 Haunted Hallows event.

The Twisted Tree decal is universal, and is compatible with any Battle-Car.

Frosty Fest

The following decals were purchasable with "Snowflakes" during the 2017 Frosty Fest event.

The Cold Sweater decal is universal, and is compatible with any Battle-Car.

Frosty Fest 2018

The following decals can be purshased with "Snowflakes" during the 2018 Frosty Fest event.

Spring Fever

The following decals could be purchased with "Flowers" during the 2018 Spring Fever event.

The Swirls decal is universal, and is compatible with any Battle-Car.

Beach Blast

The following decals can be purchased with "Shells" during the 2018 Spring Fever event.

What a save!

The What a save! decal can be obtained by playing and completing 6 matches. This decal cannot be traded.

Nitro Circus

The Nitro Circus decal can be obtained by redeeming the code rlnitro. The code is valid until an undetermined date.

Rocket Pass 1

These decals could be obtained by tiering up in the Rocket Pass 1. Now they can only be obtained via trading.

These decals can only be obtained from the Rocket Pass 2 progression.

Black Market

Decals listed here have a very low chance of being found in crates.

These decals are unique in that they were once shown in crate previews as an Octane Battle-Car partially covered by a purple hexagon-motif fabric. These decals were dubbed "Mystery Universal Decal" in the previews, which means that these decals are applicable to all Battle-Cars. As of Patch v1.41, they can be previewed normally and are no longer dubbed ”Mystery Universal Decal”.

  • The Biomass and Labyrinth decals prevent the player from choosing a secondary paint color; the accent color is exclusively black.
  • The Labyrinth, Parallax, and Slipstream decals can only be found in Champion Crate 1, Champion Crate 2, and Champion Crate 3.
  • The Heatwave decal can be found in all Champion Crates and Player's Choice Crate.
  • The Biomass decal can be found in Champion Crate 4 and Turbo Crate.
  • The Hexed decal can be found in Champion Crate 4, Turbo Crate and Player's Choice Crate.
  • The Tora decal can only be found in Turbo Crate.
  • The 20XX decal can be found in Turbo Crate, Nitro Crate and Player's Choice Crate.
  • The Spectre decal can be found in Nitro Crate and Player's Choice Crate.
  • The Bubbly decal can only be found in Nitro Crate.
  • The Chameleon and Trigon decals can only be found in Victory Crate.
  • The Storm Watch can be found in Victory Crate and in Triumph Crate.
  • The Dissolver decal can only be found in Triumph Crate.
  • The Streamline decal can only be found in Impact Crate.
  • The Firegod decal can be found in Impact Crate and Zephyr Crate.
  • The Mainframe decal can only be found in Zephyr Crate.
  • The Wet Paint decal can only be found in Elevation Crate.

Premium

These decals are only available by purchasing the related DLC for them.
