The 007's Aston Martin DB5, also called the 1963 Aston Martin DB5, is a licensed vehicle that was on sale as a DLC bundle in the Item Shop for 1100 from July 29, 2021 to August 4, 2021.[1]
Along with the 007's Aston Martin DB5, the bundle includes a new Reel Life decal, Silver Birch paint finish, and unique wheels, rocket boost, and engine audio. These items are only compatible with the Aston Martin DB5, and cannot be equipped on other cars.[1]
This is the first of many James Bond items coming to Rocket League; both the trailer and article suggest more licensed content being added in the future.
From October 7 to October 13, 2021 the Aston Martin DB5 returned to the Item Shop along with the release of the 007's Aston Martin Valhalla.
Customization[]
The Aston Martin DB5 cannot be customized with any other decals, wheels, toppers, antennas, or engine audio besides what is in its bundle. It can, however, be customized with any non-licensed rocket boost, trail, or goal explosion.
The Aston Martin's paint is always silver. However, when no decal is equipped, the primary paint color slot can be customized. It makes a slight tint effect on the silver paint with whatever primary color is chosen. Equipping the Reel Life decal removes that tint and makes a fully silver car. When Reel Life is equipped, paint colors cannot be customized.
